Producer Frank Aversa is best known for his work on the #1 hit song "TWO PRINCES" for the SPIN DOCTORS which catapulted the album "POCKET FULL OF KRYPTONITE" from 500,000 copies to a certified triple platinum album in the U.S., and went on to sell over seven million copies worldwide. "TWO PRINCES" also holds the honor for the longest recurrent airplay on the Billboard charts with 132 weeks, and grabbed a 1994 Grammy nomination for "Song of the Year".

Over the years Frank has developed many young acts and in the winter of 1993 he discovered "THE HAZIES", a band from Tampa, Florida, which he signed to EMI Records in 1994. That partnership yielded two Top Ten singles at Mainstream and Active rock from their debut album "VINNIE SMOKIN IN THE BIG ROOM". "SKIN & BONES", and "TRIP FREE LIFE" were both favorites among rock radio programmers. EMI had planned to release a third single "SPIN" to a multi-format platform in July of 1997, which probably would have put the band over the top, but EMI Records North America was abruptly closed by it's European parent company to streamline it's bottom line.

In the spring of 1996, Frank recorded and produced OUTHOUSE for Mercury Records. The debut album "WELCOME", which was released in March of 1997, was well received by rock radio and the title song climbed to Twenty-eight with a bullet on Billboards' Mainstream Rock charts in May of 1997.

Both "THE HAZIES" and "OUTHOUSE" were recorded at ThunderCreek which is located in an 1810 barn on ten acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. Along with a 6,000 square foot 1810 farmhouse containing a separate wing for visiting artists, it provides the perfect environment for creating.

Frank continues to enjoy seeking out and developing new talent . He is now accepting new projects to collaborate on in a variety of ways, including production, mixing and engineering.
